Accessibility Statement
Wild Strawberry's aim is to make our site as accessible as possible so it can be used by everybody. To that end we're continually reviewing our pages.
We make minimal use of graphics and have structured our pages to be fully comprehensible using screen reading software.
Accessibility and standards
This site has been developed to conform to w3c open standards and recognised accessibility standards.
- It has been tested on Windows, Mac and Linux platforms
- We strive to ensure that our pages maintain the best balance of standards-based accessibility and functionality.
- It has been tested on several mobile phone platforms
- We've tested the site on the Open Wave platform for Symbian OS phones, the Opera Mini browser and the xhtml-compliant browser shipped with recent Sony-Ericsson phones. We welcome feedback on accessibility using other handheld devices.
- It does not use access keys
- Access keys are not supported in assistive technologies such as screen readers.
- Skip to content
- The first link on every page enables visitors to skip other site navigation elements and go directly to the main content.
- 'Tab indexing' is employed
- All links can be navigated sequentially using the tab key
Using another Stylesheet
A common stylesheet controls how content is displayed on all pages on this site. We have developed our stylesheet to make content accessible to as many people as possible. However, you can override this and use your own stylesheet by changing the settings on your web browser:
- Internet Explorer
- Tools menu; choose Internet Options; choose General; choose Accessibility; check Format documents using my style sheet. Then browse to select your stylesheet
- Opera
- File menu; choose Preferences; choose Page Style; choose My Style Sheet. Then browse to select your stylesheet
- Safari
- File menu; choose Preferences; choose Advanced; choose Style Sheet. Then browse to select your stylesheet
